MY APPROACH
I LOOK FOR REAL MOMENTS & EMOTIONS & DOCUMENT YOUR STORY AS IT NATURALLY UNFOLDS
Nothing that you see in my portfolio is ‘posed’ or fake. I blend into your day as unobtrusively as possible and capture your story quietly and naturally as it unfolds. During the couples portraits, I offer a little gentle and very natural direction to help you relax and fully embrace the moment.
I invest time before your wedding day getting to know you and understand what and who holds significance in your lives. Building trust between us is a crucial aspect of my approach, this trust allows me to create the space for you to truly be yourselves, and capture the genuine connection you share and the authenticity of emotions you experience throughout your day.
To me, your experience is as important as your photographs. Your day is as important to me as it is to you, from the day you you get in touch to the day you receive your photographs, and beyond.
A really important part of my approach is that I show up to your wedding as a ‘friend with cameras.’ So that I can make photos that really show how it felt in that moment, I need to be ‘in’ the action and not shooting ‘at’ the action. Gaining your trust and being a ‘part’ of your wedding, not ‘the hired help’ is an essential element to my approach.
If you would like them, I can also take a few groups for you, these are super important to record all those special people who are there to celebrate with you. I try to keep this part of the day as quick and pain free as possible, so that it doesn’t encroach on your fun and real moments. I advise up to 6 groups max, I have suggestions if you need help with this.
I also come with lots of experience. I bring the calm when the nerves are building, the quiet when you are alone and I’m always ready to boogie with the best on the dance floor! I’ve got your back.
MY STYLE
MY STYLE IS EMOTIVE AND CINEMATIC WITH A FINE-ART TOUCH
These aren’t just photographs, this is your ever lasting memory of the story of your day.
My work is not light and airy, or bright and colourful. I would describe it as atmospheric and emotive, some would say dark and moody.
My unique editing style has been developed over the years to bring emphasis to the emotion, connection and moment, turning your images into artworks that you can feel. I will edit approximately 1/3 of your images in black and white, this is a creative choice I make when editing, but any of these images can be provided in colour also.
It is very important to me that you love my style, and that my work and approach is the perfect fit for you and your day. We meet up for a video call and chat prior to booking, so that you can check me out and be 100% sure of your decision.

I only take on a very limited number of wedding commissions every year, because it is so important to me that all of my couples receive the same level of care and attention. This allows me to pour my heart and soul into every celebration I capture and plan.
I specialise in adventure elopements & small weddings, but I do take on a handful of larger weddings per year.
All of my options include the same benefits – I don’t offer ‘half day’ packages, but can price for bespoke coverage if you let me have more details of what you would like for your day – whether that is 3 hours or 3 days!
