I believe the key to capturing authentic and emotive images boils down to just two words…
HUMAN CONNECTION
Images come alive when there’s a genuine bond between people. Not just the couple in front of the camera, but the relationship between the couple and the photographer taking the images is hugely important too.
It’s not just about poses or picturesque scenes; it’s much more about you feeling comfortable enough with me to be your true selves and allowing me to become an observer, preserving with. my camera the raw moments of laughter, shared joy, and tender glances.

MY APPROACH
I LOOK FOR REAL MOMENTS & EMOTIONS & DOCUMENT YOUR STORY AS IT NATURALLY UNFOLDS
Nothing that you see in my portfolio is ‘posed’ or fake. I blend into the background as unobtrusively as possible and capture your story quietly and naturally as it unfolds. During couples sessions, I may offer a little gentle and very natural direction to help you relax and fully embrace the moment, but because we have taken the time to build that connection between us, during moments when you are just organically enjoying your time together, I am very quietly observing and moving gently around you.
Investing that time getting to know you and understanding who and what holds significance in your lives, building that trust between us is a crucial aspect of my approach, this trust allows me to create the space for you to truly be yourselves, and capture the genuine connection you share and the authenticity of emotions you experience throughout your wedding, intimate elopement or couples session.
To me, your experience is equally as important as your photographs.

A really important part of my approach is that I show up to your wedding or session as a ‘friend with cameras.’ So that I can make photos that really show how it felt in that moment, I need to be ‘in’ the action and not shooting ‘at’ the action. Gaining your trust and being a ‘part’ of your wedding day, not ‘the hired help’ is an essential element to my approach.
If you would like them, I can also take a few groups for you, these are super important to record all those special people who are there to celebrate with you. I try to keep this part of the day as quick and pain free as possible, so that it doesn’t encroach on your fun and real moments. I advise up to 6 groups max, I have suggestions if you need help with this.
I also come with lots of experience. I bring the calm when the nerves are building, the quiet when you are alone and I’m always ready to boogie with the best on the dance floor! I’ve got your back.

My work is not light and airy, or bright and colourful.
My unique editing style has been developed over the years to bring emphasis to your emotions and genuine connection, turning your images into artworks that you can feel.
It is very important to me that you love my style, and that my work and approach is the perfect fit for you and your day. I meet up on zoom and chat with every couple prior to booking, so that you can be 100% sure of your decision.

YOUR WHOLE WEDDING DAY STORY
This isn’t a photoshoot, it’s your wedding day, a huge milestone in your journey and you don’t want to have to worry about structuring your day around your photographer’s timeline.
If I’m in, I want to be all in! I want to photograph your whole story – the entire event – and all the little and real moments that happen outside the expectation and structured schedule of your day.
If you choose me for all day coverage, I don’t limit that storytelling to a set number of hours. I start when you’re getting ready and I usually finish when capturing moments merges more into collecting evidence!

The relationship she built up with us throughout the whole process was exceptional – she made the whole experience personal and we felt really special.
She is so so so talented – the pictures from our wedding beautifully capture the fun, love and relaxed vibe of our day – exactly what we had asked for. She did such an amazing job.
